Kelva Beach also known as Kelwa or Kelve lies near Palghar. Beautiful white sand beach with Suru trees or Casuarina trees on side. This beach is appx 2 kms long beach. An ideal beach for sunset. During low tides water recedes far back and one of the fort can be approached during low tide. This beach is separated by a creek which gets submerged in high tide. Adjoining this beach is Mahim Beach. Drive to Kelva Beach is scenic.
Above is the photo of Kelwa Creek during high tide.
